On Tuesday June 10th 2025 at approximately 1040 am DVFC responded to a motor vehicle collision with entrapment on Rt 161 (Darlington Rd.) at Price Road. Air 9 arrived to find a single vehicle in the roadway. A single occupant was determined to be entrapped in the vehicle, but not seriously injured. The occupant was extricated through the driver's door with the use of hydraulic rescue tools. Medic 1 transported the occupant to Christiana Hospital for evaluation of any potential injuries. The roadway was reopened and units cleared after approximately 1 hour.
